Amber Bolen is a Certified Health Physicist and seasoned educator with a passion for turning complex concepts into practical, actionable knowledge. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Training and Development and has been tutoring students in test preparation since 2019, helping them master challenging material and build the confidence needed to succeed.
Amber’s career in health physics has spanned the DOE Nuclear Weapons Complex, commercial nuclear power plants, state regulatory agencies and consulting roles. This diverse background gives her a unique, real-world perspective on the technical and professional demands faced by Certified Health Physicists.
Having personally experienced the frustrations and long preparation process for the CHP examination—spanning more than a decade—Amber is deeply committed to making the path to certification clearer, more efficient, and more accessible for today’s candidates.
Henry Bolen, MBA, CHP, CSP, PMP, RRPT, ASP, CIT
Henry Bolen is a Certified Health Physicist with decades of experience across the full spectrum of the radiation protection field. Over the course of his career, Henry has served in critical roles within the DOE Nuclear Weapons Complex, commercial nuclear power generating stations, state regulatory agencies, and fuel fabrication facilities, as well as in consulting and specialized training capacities.
His work has placed him at the forefront of operational safety, regulatory compliance, and advanced radiation protection strategies in some of the most demanding environments in the industry. Henry’s depth of technical expertise is matched by his ability to mentor and guide professionals at all stages of their careers.
Having navigated the Certified Health Physicist examination process himself—over years of preparation—Henry understands the unique challenges candidates face.
