BIE Academy is a small business that offers unparalleled online Professional Exam Certification Preparation courses. 

With Dr. Bevelacqua’s in-person course, your practice problems and study materials are in printed and bound workbooks (5 Volumes). You go to his in-person intensive one-week course where he will go over selected topics and work selected past part 2 exam questions. 

With the online course, you have access to all of the same materials contained in the workbooks. The materials are just broken down by topic and there are video lectures for each topic that can be watched at your convenience and watched over and over. We provide all of the same practice questions, with video feedback on how to work them. We will also meet as a group bi-weekly (this is optional) to go over any problems that you may be having trouble with. Additionally, there are options to add on a detailed preparation plan and one-on-one meeting sessions.

Note: Bevelacqua Resources In-Person Students receive 5 volumes of printed manuals along with a hardback copy of the appropriate textbook (Basic Health Physics for Part 1; Contemporary Health Physics for Part 2). Everything contained in these manuals and textbooks will be covered in the online course, but students are responsible for obtaining their own copy of the textbook. All practice questions that are provided in the printed materials are built into the online course. The materials a student has access to are identical; they are just delivered in different formats.

 If you're wondering about the name...When our girls were very small and we were living in NC, we were required to declare a name for our homeschool when we registered with the state. We went through several ideas and landed on the Bolen Institute of Excellence. We wanted it to have a traditional feel with a focus on excellence. If you have seen the accomplishments that have come out of our little school, you will know that excellence is the standard in the Bolen household. We want to extend that standard of excellence to our business and everything we do as part of it.
